Marcolin renews license with Catherine Deneuve
Jul 4, 2014
The Italian group Marcolin is to launch Catherine Deneuve eyewear. The company has announced the renewal of an agreement between the French actress and the American manufacturer Viva International Group in 1989 for the design, production and worldwide distribution of the” Catherine Deneuve" optical frames and sunglasses collections.

Viva International claims to be the second largest American group in the optical industry and has licenses for brands such as Guess, Gant, Harley Davidson, Marciano or Skechers. The American company was acquired by Marcolin Group in 2013, which had only to renegotiate a renewal of the agreement, which will be extended “for several years."
"Mlle. Catherine Deneuve is the worldwide epitome of timeless elegance - something that our company is proud to represent with these products," said Giovanni Zoppas, CEO of Marcolin. The company produces and distributes eyewear collections for Emilio Pucci, Tom Ford, Balenciaga, Ermenegildo Zegna, Roberto Cavalli or Tod's.
