FAM will now assume the design, production and manufacturing of Wildfox's apparel and accessories. The company said it plans to partner with the existing Wildfox factory base to continue the business with as little disruption as possible.

As part of the deal, FAM Brands also said it will make a "significant financial investment" in Wildfox, "coming not only from the initial acquisition but also from design expansion and infrastructure improvements."

Founded in 2008, Wildfox is designed in L.A. and offers a range of tops, bottoms, dresses, intimates, outerwear, swimwear and sunglasses, available in the U.S., Europe, Canada, Australia and Asia. The brand's pieces are sold online via Wildfox's website and on sites like Revolve and Shopbop, as well as in-store via Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Selfridges and Harrods. Wildfox pieces have also been seen on celebrities like Alessandra Ambrosio, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Vanessa Hudgens.

"Wildfox, synonymous with California style, caters to a wide range of contemporary women's apparel and accessory categories," said Frank Zarabi, FAM Brands CEO.

"The brand shares our passion for creating high-quality clothing and exceptional customer experiences. Well known for vintage-inspired style and ultra-comfortable signature essentials, Wildfox provides a perfect base for even further category extensions."

In addition to Wildfox, the FAM Brands portfolio includes the Eddie Bauer brand, California lifestyle brand Peace and Pearls, and several women's activewear brands, including Marika, Zobha and Ellie, among other brands.
