Since nearly a year ago, the event and conference sector has been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic. Trade shows, prime venues for business meetings, discoveries and commercial transactions, have suffered too. In the course of a few months, their organisers have had to adapt event formats and shift towards online services. It means a drastic transformation for organisations whose business fundamentals have been undermined.

On Tuesday December 8, global trend forecasting agency FashionSnoops is assessing the current situation by bringing together a number of fashion show top executives from around the world, in a webinar scheduled at 4 pm CET. FashionSnoops staged a similar session in April, when it says there were some 800 online participants to the virtual round-table debate.

The speakers on Tuesday's webinar will be Sébastien de Hutten, CEO of Playtime; Fulvia Bacchi, CEO of Lineapelle; Philippe Brocart, director of Maison & Objet; Raphael Camp, CEO of Eurovet Americas and vice-president of Comexposium; Kelly Helfman, president of MAGIC; Edwina Kulego, vice-president of Liberty Fairs; Sandra Maguarian, co-founder and director of MakeUp In; Andrew Olah, founder of Kingpins; Mattia Miglio, marketing director of Cosmoprof; Boris Provost, general manager of Tranoï; Olaf Schmidt, vice-president of Messe Frankfurt; Karalynn Sprouse, vice-president of Emerald; Caron Stover, vice-president of IMC; and Anita Tillmann, general manager of Premium Berlin.

An international panel that will provide an opportunity to assess the solutions various events have tested out in their respective markets.
