Tommy Hilfiger to host shoppable livestream focused on sustainability

PVH-owned brand Tommy Hilfiger its set to host a stoppable street style live stream with a special focus on sustainability.

Scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 7 p.m. CET/1 p.m. EST on Tommy.com, the event will focus on sustainable street style, the brand said, "building on [Tommy Hilfiger's] commitment to create engaging and informative digital shopping experiences for consumers."

The event comes after Tommy Hilfiger chose to skip this most recent New York Fashion Week

Featured products will include pieces from the fall 2020 Tommy Hilfiger, Hilfiger Collection, TommyXLewis and Tommy Jeans collections. Those watching the stream will be able to add their favorite items to a virtual shopping bag to immediately purchase after the broadcast. 

The livestream will be hosted by YouTuber and model, Elias Riadi, as well as journalist and presenter, Sydney Lima. The two will be joined by special guests including Lewis Hamilton, six-time Formula One world champion and Tommy Hilfiger global brand ambassador; Toni-Blaze Ibekwe, editor-in-chief of Wonderland Magazine and celebrity stylist; Wilson Oryema, artist, writer and co-founder of Regenerative Futures; and model and sustainability activist Doina Ciobanu. 

The event's tech platform was designed by internal teams with shoppable features and livestream powered by Blive, an end-to-end event platform company. The event will be available for replay after the livestream.
