During the two-year facelift, Tiffany will leave the space its occupied since 1940, at 727 Fifth Avenue at the corner of 57th Street, to occupy a former Nike store.

Dubbed 'The Tiffany Flagship Next Door', the new space at 6 East 57th Street has been modernly renovated with Tiffany’s signature style including Tiffany blue elevators and an impressive atrium.

The airy space, which was being remodelled for months, first opened as a men’s-specific pop-up in December. It features four retail floors each designed to have its own visual concept.

As in the original building, high jewelry is on the main floor, while the Tiffany’s men’s collection can be found on the second floor. Love and engagement is on the third floor, and home and accessories on the the fourth floor. The space also features a VIP salon for service and private selling rooms on each floor.

The luxury jeweler made the move on Sunday, along with 30 security officers to help relocate securely some 114,179 units of merchandise worth millions of dollars.

The move took place over the course of 18 hours without any problems to open on time at 10:30 a.m., Monday morning.

Tiffany & Co. is currently being bought by Louis Vuitton owner LVMH, in a $16.2 billion deal.
