Rodan + Fields appoints Nike alum Steve Dee as new chief information officer
San Francisco-based skincare brand Rodan + Fields, LLC announced on Thursday that it has appointed Steve Dee as its new chief information officer in order to support the company’s digital development as it pushes forward with its growth plans.
In his new role, Dee will lead Rodan + Field’s global information technology organization and will be responsible for defining and developing the brand’s technology strategy and infrastructure.
He will also oversee the company’s platform engineering and digital product management, corporate applications and infrastructure, information security, and project management and governance teams. Dee will report to Rodan + Fields COO and CFO Chris Newman.
The University of Florida graduate brings more than 25 years of experience in technology and digital roles to Rodan + Fields, having most recently served as VP for geographies, sales and converse technology at Nike.
Prior to joining Nike in 2013, he served as chief information and technology officer at home furnishing retailer Hayneedle, and also spent over two years as chief technology officer at J.Crew.

Founded in 2002, Rodan + Fields, which is particularly well known for its anti-ageing products, recently expanded into teen skincare with the launch of its anti-acne solution, Spotless.
