It is official: Nehera, Nanushka and Sadaels are among next season’s new entries on the Paris Fashion Week calendar. The three labels will stage presentations during the week dedicated to the Spring/Summer 2020 collections, scheduled from September 23 to October 1 2019 in the French capital.

Sandra Sandor will present the collections by Nanushka - Nanushka

Nanushka was founded in Hungary in 2006 by designer Sandra Sandor. The label's main market is the USA, and it plans to open a store in Los Angeles in the coming months. In early 2019, Nanushka presented its first menswear collection to fashion buyers, and for the last six months it has been operating a concession at Parisian department store Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche. Since February 2018, the label has also been active with a boutique-café in its home town of Budapest.

Nehera made a fresh start in 2014 - Nehera

For womenswear label Nehera, which was relaunched in Slovakia in 2014, this is a return to the Parisian scene, since it already featured on the presentation calendar for the Spring/Summer 2018 Fashion Week. The label made its debut in Prague under the aegis of Jan Nehera in the 1920s. It fell dormant from World War II until 1998, when it was bought by advertising entrepreneur Ladislav Zdut, and in the last five years it has been trying to find a second wind.

Sadaels established a presence in Paris in 2017 - Sadaels

Sadaels caught the fashion world’s eye last February, when it premièred at the Designers Apartment showroom in Paris. A Sadaels store has been active in Buenos Aires, Argentina, since 2015. However, the label and its Belgian-Argentinian designer Juan Hernandez Daels settled in Paris two years ago.

Alongside these three rookies, another five fashion labels were previously included by the Fashion and Haute Couture Federation in the next Parisian presentation calendar: Coperni, Joseph, Nicolas Lecourt Mansion, Calvin Luo and Patou. Labels Kimhekim, Mame Kurogouchi and Kwaidan Editions will instead be staging a fully fledged, official calendar show at the next Paris Fashion Week.
