Mansur Gavriel has just announced it will not only be the latest brand to make the switch to the see-now-buy-now format, it will also be launching its very first ready-to-wear collection.

"We want to create a full world for our consumers and are thrilled to grow our product offering to include ready-to-wear,” said Mansur Gavriel founders Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel, “Our decision to simultaneously switch to a consumer-focused calendar is also exciting. We're looking forward to offering our customers such immediacy."

To launch this ready-to-wear collection, the New York label will open “The Candy Shop” pop-up environment in SoHo. "We create immersive Mansur Gavriel environments every season" Mansur explained about the concept of the pop-up, "so [we] wanted to continue that. We love the idea of creating a new world for guests to escape to." The store will stock the entire range of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2017 apparel line and will open to the public on February 15th, for a four week run.

The brand, which has received awards from the CFDA for Accessory Design (2015) and Accessory Designer of the Year (2016), will show its Fall/Winter 2017 apparel and accessories collection at New York Fashion Week in September. All of the products seen on the runway will be available for purchase immediately following the show.

Mansur Gavriel started off  in 2012 making luxury leather bags, such as the patent bucket bags with Mansur Gavriel's signature contrast lining, which quickly gained a cult following. In September of 2015 the brand extended its product offering to include a selection of leather footwear.
