The program will include both cutting-edge designs and more casual models, all of which will take their inspiration from the featured brands’ archives. The watches will be manufactured in limited runs and a number of the timepieces are being launched or re-issued for the first time in the US exclusively at Macy’s. The wide variety of watches on offer will be reflected in their prices, with pieces ranging from $220 to $2,550.

The first watches, the Tissot Heritage Visodate, a contemporary twist on a Tissot classic, and the Longines Aviation, inspired by a British military timepiece produced in the 1950s, will both drop on September 5th. Subsequent drops will take place every Wednesday until October 24th, with a further two planned for November 14th and 21th.

The second drop on September 12th will mark the release of the Tag Heuer Aquaracer, a heavy-duty Macy’s exclusive, while the third, on September 19th, will see Movado release two Heritage Series Silhouette watches.

Movado will be followed by drops from Raymond Weil, Hamilton, Bulova, Citizen, Diesel – which will release four watches on October 24th – and Rado, before the final drop at the end of November, which will see the launch of the Seiko Prospex, a revival of a classic 1960s diver’s watch, reimagined with a blue dial and luminous hands.

The first watches to launch, the Tissot Heritage Visodate and the Longines Aviation, will retail for $695 and $2,325, respectively.
