Taking place on June 24- 26, the event is part of the wider four-season campaign Utopia 2016, which commemorates the 100th anniversary of the publication of Thomas More’s Utopia book.

The free Utopia fair, presented in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and the Connected Communities programme, will showcase projects from 25 AHRC-funded creative alongside 10 additional initiatives that have been hand-selected by Somerset House.

Among exhibitors will be the Hackney-based sustainable fashion brand Everything in Colour, which creates new items using repurposed fabrics. The label's womenswear, menswear and accessories items will be available to purchase on site.

This is not the first time the landmark venue is promoting fashion businesses through its Utopia campaign. In February, Somerset House partnered with the British Fashion Council and the British Council to host the exhibition Fashion Utopias, presenting emerging designers from 25 countries.

The show was arranged across 15 galleries representing countries from Austria and Ukraine to Lebanon and Indonesia.

The Utopia fair will be held at Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court from Friday 24 June until Sunday 26.
