Twenty four year old Central St Martin’s graduate secures point of sale at Harrods. Ethan Koh is young designer, but he comes with a heritage of four generations originating in Singapore, where his family, who today run Heng Long, a major crocodile leather supplier to renown luxury brands, has specialised in luxury exotic skins since the 1900s.

The 22 minaudières for sale are made exclusively from Niloticus crocodile bred in Singapore and later hand crafted in Tuscany. The crocodile leather is directly supplied by Heng Long International, of which 51 percent of the tannery has been acquired last month by LVMH, valued at about 92 million euros ($123 million).

Minaudières from Ethan K range from £1,790 to £2,080, and are also available for purchase in London’s high-end shop CoutureLab in Mayfair as well as Quintessentially Gifts. Starting February 2012, Ethan K days bags will expand the luxury brand's array of products at Harrods.
