Operating profit in the period reached a record 104m DKK (approx €14m) and EBITDA for 2015 was 143m (€19.2m). The retail group said it is satisfied with the results, especially as the year was characterized by the expenses of integrating operations The Original Group and BON’A PARTE. DK Company also took over activities in Switzerland and entered a partnership to run 12 stores on Sjælland, Denmark, in the period.

Executive Vice-President Jens Poulsen said: "For a number of years we've been focusing on strategic acquisitions, the integration of the businesses we've acquired, and developing our platform 'The Blooming Concept.' It's therefore gratifying for us to see that the platform is creating satisfying results for the fully integrated operations and showing progress when it comes to both revenue and profit."

In January, DK Company announced that it had acquired the Culture, Pulz and Educe brands from Denmark's Ball Group. The company is focusing on strengthening its position in the mid-market segment, where it plans to become one of Europe's leading multibrand retailers.
