Covergirl is doubling down on inclusivity with the launch of a new makeup range designed specifically for women of color.

The Coty-owned cosmetics brand has announced the release of its ‘Full Spectrum Collection,' an extensive series spanning foundation, primer, eyeshadows, lipsticks and more. The entire series has been created with dark skin tones in mind, with "super rich pigments and bold shades that stand out," according to an Instagram post from the brand.

"Understanding that inclusivity goes far beyond shade ranges, Full Spectrum was developed with the unique shade and skin needs of multicultural women in mind," Covergirl told HelloGiggles.

To this end, the line -- which is now available at Ulta Beauty -- includes sumptuous purple lipsticks, eyeshadows ranging from teal and lime green to metallic gold, and creamy blusher in sunset shades. The products will reportedly cost between $6.92 and $13.49.

Celebrating diversity has become an explosive beauty trend over the past year, with multiple brands expanding their shade ranges to suit a wider range of skin tones. High-profile examples include the vegan beauty brand Milk Makeup, which recently added eight new hues to its 'Blur Foundation' series, as well as NYX Cosmetics, which launched a brand new 'Can't Stop Won't Stop' foundation in 45 shades this summer. Too Faced recruited blogger and influencer Jackie Aina to expand its 'Born This Way' foundation shade range in June, and Tarte Cosmetics boosted its "Amazonian Clay" foundation range from 25 shades to 40 back in May.
