The regular pop-ups at 12 Piccadilly Arcade in London are continuing and this month sees the ninth independent designer — London-based fashion label Clio Peppiatt — taking up residence.

Peppiatt has opened her first-ever retail space at the creative pop-up in the heart of London’s West End and will be there until 29 September.

The 12 Piccadilly Arcade initiative is a concept created by Westminster City Council, landlord GPE, Heart of London Business Alliance and Appear Here, and is using vacant retail space to enable small-scale businesses, homegrown brands and emerging creative talent to trade and showcase their goods in a bricks-and-mortar store in Central London.

It started in January and is running throughout this year, with the pop-up boutique housing a different brand each month.

Clio Peppiatt launched her brand in 2015 and has built a UK and international business based on “reinvention of traditional craftsmanship and playful, subversive femininity”.

She’s known for hand-beading and embroidery, stemming from the designer’s original drawings.

The newly-launched AW22 collection is available to purchase in the pop-up and her first ever Bridal collection is also there, entirely made of recycled, deadstock and eco fabrics. The collections can be tried on in-store and bridal appointments can also be scheduled. Bespoke options are also possible as well as custom alterations.

Additionally, on Sunday 25 September, Peppiatt is set to partner with Ravensbourne University to give 10 students free mentoring sessions and help advise on how to create a career in fashion.
