The new AEO store is located in Plaza Cibeles, in the city of Irapuato, and showcases the label's casual fashion range including denim, shorts, jackets and skirts, in addition to its lingerie brand Aerie.

After this opening in Irapuato, AEO has two stores in Guanajuato state, the other being located in Aeropuerto boulevard, in the capital city of León.

Across Mexico, the Pittsburgh-based company is present with more than 25 stores, in the states of Puebla, Querétaro, Quintana Roo and Jalisco, among others, in addition to its new flagship store opened in the historic centre of Mexico City.

At the beginning of the year, the retailer founded in 1977 operated 949 AEO stores, and 97 stand-alone stores and 67 retail corners for Aerie, across the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, China, the United Kingdom and other countries worldwide.
