Actors, scientists and DJs unite: Aerie has unveiled its eight new #AerieReal Role Models.

The lingerie and lifestyle brand has recruited the actors and creatives Lana Condor, Beanie Feldstein, Hari Nef and Ali Stroker to its roster of brand representatives, as well as the sustainability activist Manuela Barón, the entrepreneur Dre Thomas, the DJ and wellness advocate Tiff McFierce and the scientist and CEO Keiana Cavé.

The group joins the label's panel of long-standing ‘role models,' including the Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman, model Iskra and gold medal para-snowboarder Brenna Huckaby.

Together, the role models will be tasked with spreading Aerie's body-positive philosophy. They are also helping to publicize the launch of a new ‘#AerieReal Change Initiative,' which aims to find 20 real-life changemakers and help support their community work with a grant of $20,000 each. The winners will be announced this fall.

"Six years ago, Aerie took the game-changing leap to stop airbrushing its models -- which ignited a body positivity movement that has empowered women around the world to let their real selves shine," said Jennifer Foyle, Aerie Global Brand President, in a statement. "We believe everyone has the power to be a changemaker."

Since that 2014 decision to eschew retouching its campaign imagery, American Eagle Outfitters-owned Aerie has gained a reputation as a champion of body positivity, and is known for featuring a diverse lineup of professional and non-professional models across its ads.
