​Michael Kors names former HoF exec as new VP of Buying EMEA

Jacqueline Hay has been named Michael Kors’ new Vice President of Buying & Planning – Retail Europe, effective from April 4.

Hay, who joins from House of Fraser where she served as the Executive Director, Apparel and Accessories, will report to Cedric Wilmotte, President of the brand’s EMEA business.

“Jacqueline has been in the strategic business planning and buying sector across a range of product categories for over 20 years and comes to us with a wealth of knowledge, expertise and strong relationships in this space,” said Wilmotte. “She will help us continue to lead our business into the next stage of growth.” 

Jacqueline Hay was fifteen years at House of Fraser, and her background also includes executive positions at a variety of companies including Austin Reed, Bill Amberg and FutureBrand.

As Michael Kors’ new VP of Buying and Planning EMEA, Hay will be central to the company’s brand-building efforts and continued success. The retailer, founded by Michael Kors in 1981, produces a range of products, including accessories, footwear, watches, jewelry, men’s and women’s ready-to-wear and fragances.
