Tokyo’s luxury district, Ginza, is home to several of the world’s most exclusive brands, and its newest addition confirms the location as high-end fashion heaven.
The newest label to surrender to Ginza’s charm is Swiss ready-to-wear company Bally, which selected Tokyo for its newest Asian global store.
The boutique occupies 800 sq mts over two floors and offers a Gentleman’s Corner with Made to Order and Shoe Care services, as well as an event space that celebrates the opening with a very special event.
For the first time ever, Bally has taken its vintage design archive, including items from 1851 to 1951, outside of Switzerland to present them in an in-store exhibition from 8 April to 8 May.
Featuring the men’s and women’s accessories and collections on the ground floor and a VIP room on the first floor, Bally’s Ginza store was designed by David Chipperfield Architects, the same firm behind Bally's New Bond Street store in London and the new Rodeo Drive flagship in Los Angeles.
The store in Los Angeles was launched earlier in February.
