Off-White's Virgil Abloh is working with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami again on a new street art and fashion collaboration that will launch in partnership with London's Gagosian Gallery.

Details on the collaboration have only been teased so far - Instagram @VirgilAbloh

While details about the collaboration are scarce, the central piece looks to be a collage-style print featuring a portrait of William Shakespeare. The graphic takes on a street art feel with bright pink overlays that create gritty texture and depth over a young portrait of the poet and playwright.

Murakami's signature is incorporated into the graphic which has been teased on the back of a white tee shirt. Off-White's branding and "handmade" lettering accompany the year 2017 which is stamped at the bottom of the image.

This is the second time Murakami and Abloh have worked together. In November 2017, the two personally screen printed tee shirts based on Murakami's "Signboard" works from 1992-2007 at ComplexCon in LA.

While neither the Gagosian, Murakami nor Abloh are sharing details about the collaboration, each contributor has leaked that there is an upcoming project centered around the Shakespeare image through their social media channels.
